When you place an order we will require the following information:
Your Name, Address, Telephone Number and a valid email address. You will also be required to give full details of a valid credit/debit card and Expiry date/
Once your order is despatched the completion of the contract between Papillon and yourself is complete, should any problems arise prior to despatch we will contact you via email or phone.
We reserve the right to withdraw any product/products from this website at any time or, we may refuse to process any transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion.
We will not be liable to you or any third party by refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
The price for the goods is inclusive of VAT at the national standard rate. The current rates are correct at the time of entering onto our system.
You confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card does not for any reason authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
You must pay in full for the goods (including any applicable delivery charges) at the time of placing your order.
Ownership of the goods we supply to you will not pass until we have received all sums due and payable by you or in connection with the goods including where applicable delivery charges.
At Papillon we aim to deliver an efficient service from when we first receive your order. All goods are sent via Royal Mail who acts as our main Courier. (Please note that another courier may, at our discretion deliver certain items that are bulky such as furniture.)
On occasion items may be lost or delayed in the post, due to a policy enforced by Royal Mail we must wait 14 days before we can resend new items or issue a refund.
We will not resend any items until this time period elapses.
We cannot specify a delivery time nor can we send any item from the website via Special Delivery. Please note if an item is required urgently then please contact 01273 720333 or email hello@thepapillonshop.com and we will endeavour to help you.
If an item is sent to an address that you specified when you placed the order and it turns out to be incorrect then we are not liable if this item does not reach you.
thepapillonshop.com is not liable for delays that are incurred via transit by Royal Mail.
Any orders placed over the weekend or during a Bank Holiday will be dealt with on the next working day.
If your delivery address is not within the United Kingdom, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Any such additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you. You should note that customs policies vary widely from country to country; thepapillonshop.com advises each customer to contact their local customs office for further information.
You should be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase please return the item to us for a full refund or exchange within 7 days.
We Refund or Exchange to the original payment method on any item that is returned in a resalable condition.

The cost of returning an item to us is your responsibility we will only refund the cost of delivery if it was our mistake or if the goods are damaged.
A returns note is included in all deliveries please complete the form in full and return with your item.
Refunds and exchanges can take up to 10 days to process from date of receipt, the returning item is your responsibility until it reaches us, we are not liable for lost items in transit.
